There is now a mosque for Muslims living in the Prima Semasa oil palm estate and the nearby villages in Paitan, Sabah.
CGB donated RM200,000 to build the mosque at its Paitan plantation and the construction was completed in December 2011.
The Prima Semasa Mosque (Masjid Prima Semasa) is a much-welcomed public infrastructure in Paitan, a small town with population of mostly farmers and plantation workers. The big Sandakan town is about 3 hours drive away.
Standing on a spacious half-acre compound, the mosque is a convenient place of worship and a centre for the qariah to network and strengthen fellowship among the ummah.
