SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY
The Group embarked on its journey towards sustainability certification in (year) with the initial approach of getting MPOB Codes of Practices (CoPs) certification by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB). Realizing the importance of food safety and sustainability in palm oil production, the company is able to embed the CSR that has started previously with sustainability initiatives into its everyday operation
practices. The Group focused with CoPs certification estate by estate and the mill.
The Group’s oil palm estates are progressively being certified to comply with the requirements of the MPOB’s Code of Good Agricultural Practice for Oil Palm Estates and Smallholdings (CoGAP). Targeting towards the end of 2018, all the nine estates will be certified with MPOB CoP certification. The palm oil mill has also received the MPOB’s Code of Good Milling Practice certification.
